CRB to host 11th India & Sustainability Standards Summit in November


The Centre for Responsible Business (CRB) is hosting the 11th edition of its annual India & Sustainability Standards Summit at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The theme for this year is “Sustainability 2.0: Leveraging Opportunities, Balancing Trade-offs, and Navigating Pitfalls”.

Scheduled to be held from 13 to 15 November 2024, the event will bring together 150+ speakers and more than 1,500 participants, representing business, government, civil society, and academia. The three-day summit will delve into key sustainability issues shaping today’s development landscape, including circularity in the apparel industry, regenerative agriculture, resilient value chains, sustainable sourcing, and gender equality through voluntary sustainability systems.

Some of the partners this year include the Delegation of European Union to India and Bhutan, ISEAL Alliance, Nature Environment and Wildlife Society, Friedrich Naumann Foundation South Asia, Solidaridad Asia, Welthungerhilfe, Bhoomika, and Federation of Indian Micro and Small & Medium Enterprises, Coal India Limited, Forest Stewardship Council, IamSME, and The Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of India, among others.

The summit will feature prominent national and international dignitaries, addressing key sustainability challenges across a wide range of fields such as public policy, agriculture, international collaboration, and sustainable business practices. The key topics that are being discussed at the summit in three high-level plenary sessions are:
