Climate change is a global problem, one that requires leaders to step up to the challenge of making renewable energy widely available at affordable prices, helping restore biodiversity, especially in the global south, and eliminating the need to burn fossil fuels before atmospheric temperatures become dangerous to all. Former Finnish President Sauli Niinistö called on the wealthiest countries to recognize their responsbility at the 21st U.N. Climate Change Conference, which issued the Paris Climate Agreement.
