Shereen A. Taie received a B.Sc. degree in computer science, Faculty of Science, Cairo University, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science, Computer and Mathematics Department, Faculty of Science, Cairo University. She is currently the Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Faculty of Computer and Artificial Intelligence, Fayoum University, Egypt, the head of “Artificial Intelligence Research Group” in Fayoum University, and a reviewer for research projects in the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA), Egypt. Moreover, she was previously the vice dean for students’ affairs, vice dean for community service and environmental development, and the Head of the Center of Electronic Courses Production, Fayoum University. She has authored many articles published in indexed international journals and conferences. She also participated in several international research projects. Her research interests include artificial intelligence, image and signal processing, machine learning, pattern recognition, and cyber security.
