The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) officially launched its new podcast series “All Things Renewable” today. Through interviews with IRENA energy experts, the podcast explains the work of the Agency and provides insights on the latest trends in the global shift towards a sustainable energy future.
Each episode focuses on key knowledge topics of IRENA – from renewable energy financing, costs, policies and technological innovations to the socio-economic impacts of the energy transition. Ten episodes are readily available on irena.org/podcast, Spotify, Pocket Casts and soon on Apple Podcasts, with the latest episode featuring Saied Dardour, Programme Officer for Renewable Energy Costs and Outlook at IRENA, who explains how renewable power costs compare to fossil fuels alternatives, what’s impacts the costs of renewables, and why clean energy remains the smartest business choice for the future.
