Fungi are the ground floor on which the building blocks of our environment grow. Fungi are capture up to a third of annual human CO2 emissions when they are healthy. But human agricultural and gardening practices can kill the fungi we count on for healthy soil. Avoid the 750+ products, such as Roundup, Ortho GroundClear, Ranger Pro, and other herbicides that contain glyphsate compounds that can kill soil fungi. Preserve the fungus among us that is busy drawing down atmospheric CO2 to feed the carbon cycle that sustains our environment.
